One of my favorite things about blogging is getting to use a lot of bad clip art to illustrate posts.

The doctrine of animus has recently been discussed in three mainstream media outlets: Slate, the New York Times, and the Washington Post.  These discussions were prompted by Judge Holmes’ concurrence in Bishop v. Smith, which I critiqued here.
